Thank You. \n“BASIC PEER SUPPORT” \n4-days of “Basic Peer Training” / Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) that combines ASSISTING INDIVIDUALS in CRISIS (a 2-day course) and GROUP CRISIS INTERVENTION (another 2-day course) that is intermixed with additional wellness topics for new Peer Support members. \nASSISTING INDIVIDUALS in CRISIS trains the peer to provide Peer Support and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) interventions (if needed) during Individual or “1 on 1” interactions. \nGROUP CRISIS INTERVENTION prepares the Peer to provide CISM interventions of Critical Incident Stress Debriefings (CISD)\, Defusing\, Crisis Management Briefings (CMB)\, etc. in Group situations.
