SUMMARY:Clinicians for Warriors Conference 2025
DESCRIPTION:The third annual Clinicians for Warriors Conference will be held at the Chickasaw Retreat Center on Aug. 3-6th 2025. The $300 Conference fee will cover the cost of CEU’s meals\, and lodging.\n\n8 CEU’s.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCyndi Doyle is our key note speaker. These are the topics she will be covering:\nFrom Rescue to Resentment: A Clinical Look at Unhealthy Cycles in First Responder Couples \nFirst responder couples often struggle with chronic disconnection\, emotional shutdown\, codependency\, or conflict.  These relationships are not immune to developing unhealthy and toxic patterns.  Why do first responders stay in toxic relationship cycles\, even when they know it’s not working? This workshop helps clinicians identify the true roots of relationship dysfunction by exploring how trauma history\, attachment dynamics\, job-based emotional conditioning\, and neurobiological patterns converge in responder partnerships. Through interactive discussion and structured mapping activities\, participants will gain a culturally informed framework for working with LEO and responder couples who appear stuck\, chaotic\, or emotionally unavailable. \nRewiring the Cycle: From Relational Dysfunction to Alignment in First Responder Relationships \nWhen relationships feel chaotic\, unclear\, or unsustainable\, first responder couples often override their needs in order to keep the peace or fulfill a sense of duty. This workshop helps clinicians support responder couples in recognizing relational patterns\, clarifying personal boundaries\, and reconnecting with their core values. Through a structured framework\, clinicians will learn how to guide clients in discerning what they need\, what’s no longer tolerable\, and what direction aligns with their well-being\, whether that leads to repair or stepping away. \nKara Niccum will be presenting on:  Fine Tuning the 8 Phases of EMDR with First Responders

DESCRIPTION:This course identifies the biological and emotional reactions to workplace stress\, hypervigilance\, and trauma to illustrate the impact of a First Responders work environment. This course discusses a person’s support foundation upon entering their career and how it has changed both positively and negatively over time. It also explores the effects of job-related trauma and stress\, hypervigilance\, and multiple methods of how to take control of your “off-duty” time. \nThe course is for all disciplines of First Responders (i.e. Firefighter / Law Enforcement / EMS / Communications / First Responder Support Staff\, etc) who may have different assignments and duties during any major events\, or the Cumulative Trauma of multiple smaller events yet still produce the “Common Reactions to Stress and Trauma” which could potentially impact a First Responder and their family members. Resources and various techniques to assist the First Responder in their journey to improve their mental and physical wellness are also provided. \nCLEET CE 2 Hrs / 2 Hrs Mental Health
