ASSISTING INDIVIDUALS in CRISIS / Peer Support (Oklahoma City)

ASSISTING INDIVIDUALS in CRISIS is PHASE 1 of the process to become a trained “Peer Support Responder”. This course is the foundation which prepares the student to provide Peer Support and CISM interventions (if needed) during Individual or “1 on 1” interactions with other First Responders. The need for appropriate follow-up services and referrals post-incident, when necessary, will also be discussed during this training.

This course is designed for First Responders and Mental Health Professionals who assist other First Responders and their families in dealing with job-related Stress and Trauma.

CLEET CE 16 hr and 8 hr MH
