Group Crisis Intervention / Peer Support (Muskogee, OK)

FreeGROUP CRISIS INTERVENTION is PHASE 2 of the “Initial Peer Support Training” in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and is a 2-day course which prepares the Peer to provide CISM interventions of Critical Incident Stress Debriefings (CISD), Defusing, Crisis Management Briefings (CMB), and other strategies useful in Group situations.
The need for appropriate follow-up services and referrals post-incident, when necessary, will also be discussed during these training courses.
This course is designed for Oklahoma First Responders and Mental Health Professionals who assist other First Responders and their families in dealing with job-related Stress and Trauma.
(NOTE: Prerequisite to attend this Group Crisis Intervention training is the 2-day course titled Assisting Individuals in Crisis.)
